Would you recommend it?
I would recommend the school to othera if they are into accademics and sport as these are high priorities of the school, and students which take an interest in these areas will benefit from the support and opportunities provided the most at the school.

The teachers at my school were very supportive and had the greatest impact on my schooling as they cared for me and every other student and wanted us to succeed

Year 12 subject choices
I did General English, Maths Methods, Physical Education, Accounting, Biology, Chemistry. While i enjoyed my subjects, at the time of choosing them i was unaware of how much of an impact ATAR scaling would have on my final result, so finishing grade 12 i had some regret in my subject choices, as some of my subjects did not scale well, dropping my grade.
Getting extra help
Teachers were very accessible for help, all it would take is the student approaching any teacher they are comfortable with in the subject and asking for help, and they could arrange lunchtime or before/ after school help.
Readiness for life after school
I feel like there could have been better preparation for life skills throughout my time at highschool for tasks like managing expenses, finding work, completing your taxes. I do know that programs to work on such skills has since been implemented in younger grades since i finished school.
Subject range and curiosity
My school offered a lot of subjects which promoted everyone to explore their own interests. Unfortunately, in senior years, at no fault of the school, most people chose subjects that would scale the best in the ATAR system, which left many of the worse scaling subjects with hardly any students, some subjects even being removed due to lack of selection.
Bullying and getting to school safely
I did not experience bullying at my school however there was a widespread standard that bullying would not be tolerated with students who were mean to others quickly and strongly discouraged from doing so, with disciplinary measures taken if necessary to the perpetrators of bullying. There were several busy roads surrounding the school, which was made aware to students through multiple road safety education sessions across the years.
Camps and excursions
The schools culture was very inclusive, with many different communities within the cohort for each individual to find themselves comfortable in. It qas very progressive when dealing with issues such as sexuality, gender and racism by providing support to all students no matter what.
Something only students would know
Something random about my school was that the motto was: nil sine pulvere, nil praeter optima, which means nothing without effort, nothing but the best
Coaching and chances to compete
Coaches were dedicated to every athlete in each team and provided opportunities by developing the team spirit and indivual performance, and giving students the opportunities to play games for school sport, and take their talent to levels exceeding the school level (ie regional, state)
Chances to take part in the arts
The school had a plethora or arts opportunities like musical theatre, instrumental music, choir, drama classes, visual art classes and displays, media arts classes and displays. Each of these areas had several showcase events and gave students the opportunity to participaten in relevant excursion and extra curricular activities.
